About

We started our Not-For-Profit division, Suncoast Life Solutions,Inc. in the year 2000. Our client base expanded 1000% in just one year and we have earned the respect and trust of the Social Security Administration, Florida Department of Children and Families and other public service entities. The goal of SLS is to advocate for the elderly and disabled who cannot manage the more complex matters of daily living. SLS will imporove the quality of their lives with an Advocate partner to perform these tasks and coordinate with other professionals to provide other needed services.

Program Description

Suncoast Life Solutions, Inc. (SLS) receives referrals from a broad range of service providers, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, Social Security Administration, Department of Children and Family Services, The Harbor Behavioral Health Care Institute in Pasco and Hernando Counties, Psychotherapeutic Services of Florida (FACT), Coastal Behavioral Health Care Center, Community Aging and Retirement Services (CARES), banks, the Veterans Administration, diverse religious organizations, current and past clients and family referrals, all within a five county area as well as in other states. The Advocate gathers basic information about client and family members, addresses any immediate concerns, document any available information, i.e. Power of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate, and Advanced Directives. Once this process is completed, the Advocate has a clear picture of the client's status.

Each client receives a monthly transaction report illustrating all of the activity within their account over the past month, detailing the use of their funds.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors' members include persons from leadership positions with behavioral care agencies, assisted living facilities, non-profit social service providers, and community representatives.

Staff Background

The SLS staff members bring decades of combined experiences that include financial training, 14 years in banking, client support, account management and varied volunteer services. The staff's background in banking and financial training has lent a strict sense of fiduciary responsibility in the management of funds for SLS clients. Adhering to strict rules of confidentiality and accurate financial reporting guarantees superior services to a vulnerable client group. Our services have proven vital to the financial health and welfare of our clientele.
